The Remote Control I posted this in the WIP section a while ago and just finished it today. If you saw the WIP, I started with a broken remote control and thought it looked cool enough to make a vehicle out of. After going thru many idea changes I ended up with Keystones, of which I know many of you aren’t big fans of, but think they look great on this. I scratch built the interior starting with a seat from the Predicta and building around it. I stuffed a 10 cylinder Viper engine in the motor compartment with no room to spare. I like the low profile of the motor and the front tubes of which I wrapped a wire around a curved sprue and painted flat black then wiped off the black from the wire. I really wanted to be out there and decided to make a cyclops headlight which was from a 1/12th scale motorcycle. I think I got the stance pretty good. Bumpers are scratch built. The tail light is a polished piece of sprue and the exhaust tips are flaired aluminium tubing. The paint was a happy accident. I was experimenting with different colors on a test body and came across this color. First I painted it gloss black then I took some Testors One Coat Lacquer Inca Gold and sprayed a light coat from about 18” away, giving it a “pixelized” look. Actually it looks a bit greenish. I thank you for looking and I hope you like it. Feel free to leave comments. Dave

Wow Dave Nice CREATIVE work on the Cyclops! I recognized that paint as soon as I seen it... I did the Inca Gold mist to hide some overspray, and yes, It does look green. Bill
