Everyone loves the Laramie Ghost Stage but few of us can find and afford one of these vintage one time kits. Quite a few Klowns have posted their great takes on hot rod stage coaches and I thought I would do the same. I posted this in the WIP section months ago. I started with the Raiders Coach and added a ’32 Ford frame and a Fire Dome V8 with 8 carbs. Cragers all the way around on skinny front tires and huge Indy car meats on the rear. The rear springs were from a computer processor. The wood is real, made from stained coffee stirrers. There are a lot of scratch built parts like the moonshine jug, bedroll, longhorns on the radiator. Many parts are altered like the suitcase (Pie Wagon gas tank), coach lights, front lights, strong box, exhaust pipes and rear suspension. The skeletons are from our own Bill (scaledetail) as well as the shotguns and one hat, the other hat (10 gallon Stetson) is from Chief. I thank the both of you for these items. The skeletons are dry brushed as well as the seats. I attempted to make it have a modern look and an old sort of crusty look at the same time. This was a really fun build. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Feel free to leave a comment. Dave

I wish they would make a all new 1/25 kit of this subject!I have been pleading Monogram to reissue the Boothill Express for years! A Laramie type stage coach would be sweet too,and your build would be the perfect prototype!

Sweet! You did a great job! Nice balance of spook and power! The only reason I picked up a Raiders Coach is because of builds like this!
