I searched ebay for some Pro Street tires only to find out almost all of the ones for sale cost as much (if not more) than the kit they were taken from. Of course when I eventually gave up, I stumbled onto a person selling Sprint Car tires for $4 a pair. I bought 4 pairs so I could have 2 pair of huge tire2 and 2 pair of smaller tires. If they didn't work out as street tires, I'm a huge fan of Northeast Dirt Mods and Sprints, so they wouldn't go to waste. The listing said these tires were made for diecast models and I didn't realize they would be off a little. The inside hole is way to big for a 1/24-5th scale model. So I now had 8 lemons. Wait! Thats enough to make lemonade, right? I broke out the cheapo circle cutter I bought to see if it works. The idea was to copy the plastic insert whitewalls that came in many of the old kits. They aren't perfect, but they look pretty cool. That's a wheel/tire from a Silhouette next to it.

hey man, if you're still wanting some pro street / sprint car tires i'm pretty sure that I have some. They are from 1/24-25 scale models and normal model rims will fit. I'm not sure how many i have but i'll never use them. If you're interested, shoot me a pm.

Ive bought and used many dollar / bargain store race cars... cut out the rims ..and 1/25 scale rims pop right in... and if they come with lights and sound .. cut off the speaker and use the lights..Run the wiring through the car and power button gets hidden in the trunk. You get some great fat tires and hell if you want working lights ..its a steal for a few bucks
