Glad you are back!!
That picture is one of my favorites! It shows up a lot when discussing oddball drag cars.

Gotta love those wild drag cars , and its a MOPAR to boot ! Your build is coming along great, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product . BTW ,would you consider selling/trading/donating the parts you dont use ? I have a slow ongoing restoration on this tired old Valiant , its now stripped of the custom stuff, but still missing a lot - Shoot me an email when you get a chance !

I have been showered with this same question, "Am I gonna alter the wheelbase". I originally steered away fom that idea because I actually scored the rarer promo 2dr. I can't actually bring myself to hacking this awesome body, even tho my favorite builds are AWB cars. I am now going to go on another quest to aquire a 4dr and actually attempt the inspiration car as well.

Curious if there is an update on this - would love to see how it turned out. I found a four door '60 valiant in the model collection I inherited from my father in law. It was one of his garage sale 'saves' that was a total mess that was missing everything (only had body, glass, and rear bumper) and had been cut an covered in glue. My saved version isn't near as nice as the OP but it was definitely fun to create. . Attachment Deleted
