I will note that the 34 pickup used the thin tinted material like the scool bus and some of those revell gasser kits. The glass I remember seeing with the Vicky wasn't painted as it I've seen true tinted glass like in the monogram kits. It was from what I remember tinted. I've got to find those images.

yeah some of the Revell and Monogram had acetate colored sheets to cut your windows. I know Miss Deal still has some come to think of it.

I have seen a few others tint glass with RITE fabric dye..
Looked like it was actually for the model.
Never tried it , but it looked good..

Yep, that's the one I have built up Charlie. I had been trying to get a box for it for ever but they rarely show up. I feel pretty sure that the Vicky I had seen some time ago had the blue glass as well but I can't find my pictures of it. Too many computer changes at this point, probably got lost in the mix. There is something curious about the '34 pickup that I hadn't noticed before though and that is the headers. I'm not sure those particular headers came with any of the previous releases or the later releases for that matter. They just look odd to me but maybe somebody can clarify that.

they almost look like the headers inverted from the Vicky kit ...

My Mother {God Rest Her...} found some old spotlight tint sheets.
These are multi-color sheet {1 color per} from smoke to aqua !!
red,blues ,greens ect!!
They are just like the material that comes in the kits!! BUT in larger sheets!! Ive used them in alot of projects!

I really appreciate th offer, but the original molded,
made to fit blue is the prize I seek. I'll usually glue
up anything, but for these, only he vintage, real deal
parts will work.
