[glow=red,2,300]TRIANGULA is FINISHED!!![/glow] This project took over 2 years... TRIANGULA started with 2 vintage 12th scale Lindburg SC1200 kits, a 12th scale Testarossa, an 8th scale Honda 750 Motorcycle & other 8th scale parts. I think most of the time spent building the TRIANGULA was trying to figure out what to do next...and Sanding, a lot of Sanding! This 8th scale Showcar is over 17 inches long and was painted with Testors Diamond Dust and Tamiyas Mica Blue. More photos coming!

How did I miss this the other day?
Very nicely executed Ira!
Nice lines, color and the engine is just KILLER.
The tail lights are perfect.

What did this start out as? When I caught the build thread on it you were already pretty far into it. It came out great BTW. [glow=red,2,300]Thanks![/glow] Triangula is an 8th scale show car powered by a Honda 750-4 Cylinder Motorcycle Engine. Triangula started with a box of old used Lindberg 12th scale "SC100" parts. The body was lengthend 2" & most of the bottom half of the SC100 was cut off on an angle & replaced with sheet plastic. The interior was rebuilt in a single person configeration with sheet plastic & an 8th scale IROC Camaro Seat. The front of the body was cut out to make room for the front wheels. The rear of the body was modified to fit the new larger rear wheels & the wider track. The bubbletop was replaced with the top from a Monogram 12th scale Ferrari Testarossa. The rear fins are from the 24th scale Monogram Predicta Show Car. The under side is sheet plastic, many pieces of sheet plastic...

Spectacular design, execution and attention to detail. This would be a cool kit! A lot of work went in to this and it shows.
