I'd stuff the engine inside the body and have some creature coming out the back window driving it , sorta like the old " Odd Rod" stickers

A few suggestions. Motor in back, blower belt facing rear, bug catcher may be positioned to the front or to rear depending on height for max visual. Please add a magneto and plug wires. For a driver I suggest Mr. Gasser (Roth kit) to take the wheel and shifter ( he is kind of fat) or the surfer driver(skinnier) from a HAWK kit "A woodie on a surfari", with the surfer no worries about gear shifting. Black out the windows remaining to hide internal sins. Looks like cool project keep us posted.
