hee hee, I know you all are squirming on your chair waiting .. to see the end of the work.. I certainly am anxious to see the finished car, yeah ... but take your time, and enjoy the process! I'm sure it'll look ggggrreeat! You've done a fabulous job on a rarely-built, good-looking kit, so far; and anything from here on in is almost icing on the cake!

Thanks guys!, Still am working on decals, still researching on and off times putting some design on car.. the body, pieces and other things are one next step to a final coat of glossy work. I am working on decal bit by bit on my photo shop. I want to reduce the size of the original decal and put them in smaller spot and put it on lower side making it a bit realistic but have some parody in it. I have some other ideas going with it so its under the process... Once the decals are all set and then applied on the car, then from there .. all the pieces will absorb all together finalizing up at once.

I painted gold as base... then used metallic ruby red.. I believe this particulair paint is no longer in production. So you can use kandy red or apple red in testors spray paint section. It would be good to go to a hobby store with large variety of paints you can find rather than store bought with only limited and popular selection of colors.

Update... After hosting both two families over our home for almost two months! whew.. now I got the chance to do some work on decals. I pulled an original copy of the decals from the kit and was about to reduce into a proper size to suit the body of car. Unfortunately, it did not come out good, the quality of picture was not that great. So, I decided to do my own scratch work using computer developing all the logos and developed mustang stripes. The decals design are not really true exact but the most closest possible and it works very well and looks very super. Here is the rough draft printout of the decals for this car.... hee hee I know you all are peeping on this car sitting on there... you ain't gonna look at that till its all done... if you have any ideas you want to put in, drop a line. I am gonna to add some few more decals and will also include decal of drag racing headlights....

Just a suggestion about the racing stripes, create a set in white and one set in yellow, the black ones on the sheet may be hard to see on the ruby red.

Yeah, I have been wondering about that for a while and hmm I will experiment that type of work and will compare them and of course will keep all of them as I may make another color lighter than black and be more visible.

Hello folks,
This has been a while I have gotten back to finishing up the model car and currently I am putting more pieces on the body of car, and adding some tiny details on the front of the grille and is really pulling A LOT better! Gee, I am at about three pieces left finishing up. I am putting a tiny line of grill rims on and requires a lot of patience putting glue in one spot and having to let it dry and then on to another spot so.. its building really great.
So.. after this, i will then be putting final coat of finish on all the body and then adding the bumper and spoiler on them and it will be DONE for sure very soon... and of course I will put photos for you all to see.. Gotta say, ITS a BEAUTIFUL looking car.
Will follow you up in the next few days...
