For those that want to know: The nose/hood/shaker/ seats/dash/console/rear bumper and tail pipe splitters are from the Ertl 1/25 TA kit.
The taillights /mirrors/WS-6 rims are from the Monogram 1/24 kit This kit/conversion was done about a year ago. I had just put on the splitters to pretty much finish it off. Only thing left is to foil the door handle, and try to find some decals for it.

Looks as much like a Deal's kit as the production runs Stan. Very cool custom job and very nice sitting next to the Trans-Um.
Nice to see you joining us. Hope to see more.

Very nice work!! Love the honeycomb wheels on it, that looks great! I do repros of all the Deal's Wheels decals and also do custom work, if you're interested in an eagle for the hood drop me a line!

Ok Ya'll.....Here's my 78 TA from the DW 70. Whadda ya think? I think it looks killer, all around ... and I also think you got me off of the hook, for being the first person to put an interior in a completed Deal's Wheels kit! (I had a Zzzzz-28 started with an interior; but it's still not finished. When Eggzilla saw it, in e-mail, he jokingly said I had ruined it for everyone; because now full interiors will be expected in all major builds of a DW's car kit!) So, seems like you're "it" ... the guy that did it first. Good for you! ;D Oh, and take Tres up on his offer of custom decals. I did, and am not at all sorry about it. (But my models aren't done, either.)

Thanks to all for the kind words.....
I tried to keep the "feel " of the original "Trans-Um kit with this convertion. I had styled it after what my real 78 looked like...<before I sold to my brother years ago>. ( black flairs, rear of spoiler painted black, carpet done in black and of course, the YJ8-WS6 snowflake rims.
Tres:...Thanks for the comments and the option of decals for it. This car would need the 5 color S/E bird,(not the standard bird) Also it would have to be shortened and stretched.....hood to nose gap too short for the decals from the "old"monogram kit which happen to have the correct bird in it.
Wardster: The main reason it has the interior......I suck at doing figures and it is a tribute to what my car once was to me.( the real one is in a coma for now on the side of the house)
And if ya'll thought this was good..... wait untill I finish the 79 Tenth Anniversary. It will also have interior, motor, pipes, and a driveline in it. I'll try to post a few shots of it shortly..............Stan BAD4GOOD@earthlink.net
