This was done at the end of the line between Tom Daniel and Monogram. TD had started this kit to be a 'Sand Dragster', with huge, ribbed rear tires... ... and as an aside, it was made from the bones of the 'Dog Catcher'... ... someone at Monogram finished it, including the shark fin on the roof; and the hokey decals... Well, so far, so good, or even not, hated by many modellers, wrongly, in my opinion, this kit contains a lot of potential! I try again, to make something different from it... This is so far what I have, I'll let the pictures speak, comments and suggestions are welcome...

It continues: A lot of putty and much more sanding... The rear end of a corvette, modified... Hope, you like it so far...

Nice Bobby!
You can make a silk purse out of a sows ear, as they say.
Nice work so far.
The area for the boards really balances out the front.

Well this is taking a whole new direction for this kit... I like it. ;D The surfboard channel will offset the forks perfect, looking forward to updates.

That IS cool. I like the surfboard tray.
Now that I know it was supposed to be a sand dragster, I want to make a sand shark with the paddle tires.. LOL.
