While building an 8th scale kit I ran across a neat idea.. the radiator hose material in my kit from 1963 was extrememly heavy duty.. with the twists and bends required for assembly all I could see was the hoses putting enough tension on something to either pry the engine out of the compartment or pop the thermostat housing or water pump clean off the model ... so I took a piece of solder and placed it inside the hoses leaving enough room to slide the ends on the nibs of the engine.. the solder holds the hose quite nicely in a "pre-formed" shape ....

Thats good to know Chuck Thanks for the tip. Usually i just use a piece of elecial wire and hit it with alittle dull coat.
