Bat Vehicles

Well, this is going to be a "Personal Challenge" to myself. I picked these up @ the P.O. yesterday and I'll be building all three at the same time. I'm trying to work out a "batch system" so I can get through my massive back log a little faster.






Quick side mote; First off, I'm probably WAY behind the curve around here on getting these so forgive me on that. Second and more importantly, The Batmobile looks to be right at 1/25th. The Batcycle may be just slightly oversized @ 1/24th. but there is NO WAY IN THE WORLD the Batboat is ANYWHERE CLOSE to 1/25th.!!! According to Glastron's specs, the boat is 17' 10" stem to stern. The hull measures 7" exactly. 1/32nd.? 1/36th.? Also check out the body & cape size difference on the Dynamic Duo between the two kits (my first clue). Regardless, I'm thrilled to have the Dynamic Trio (?) all in one place at one time. Stay tuned Bat Fans!!!

Three excellent kits to be sure, I've built them all myself, great fun. I'll concur on the various and different scales involved. As the Bat mobile is 1/25, the Bat cycle is even bigger than 1/24. When compared to some of my 1/18 die cast Bat mobiles, the cycle almost measures up, just slightly smaller (IMHO). The Bat boat, although stated to be 1/25, would appear to be smaller than the Bat mobile but it's close. I would hazard a guess that if this was not retooled and sized from the mid sixties Aurora originals, it probably is 1/32 scale.The figures supplied with the new snap version Bat mobile could fit the boat but it was tight. The completed kits do go good together for display.
