I just finished this up today. The body is a 63 Chevy Nova station wagon, which is from the Boss Nova Kit that was re-issued by model king a few years ago. I shortened a cop out funny car chassis to fit the nova wheel base. I built the "tin" interior from cop out peices and flat sheet. I had to cut out the inner front fenderwells and firewall from the nova body, and the hood is glued shut. The body has a hole in the roof where the original engine scoop would have stuck out because it was mid engined. I covered the hole from the inside with some transparent red plastic.
I used a set of 5 spoked cop out front mag wheels on the back, and widened them so that all 4 wheels match.
I drilled out the ends of the headers, wired the engine, and added fuel lines. I painted the engine candy red, and the chassis is gloss black.
The paint on the body is Testors Flaming Orange laquer with testor wet look clear over it. The decals came from my decal stash and were made for me a few years ago for an altered wheel base Plymouth GTX that I did a few years back.
