Found this show rod at a thrift shop $4.99, engine was started but the builder gave up, probably because of the non-sniffable glue did not hold the chrome parts together. Originally this kit was marketed as a bright yellow Beer Bagon then the politically correct folks had their influence. Sad but true NASCAR too. Then kit becomes RC Cola Wagon, pop in barrels !! HUH Lovely red plastic parts Some assembly and gray primer (Vallejo surface primer) barrels base coated, engine wired. Thin wood strips dyed gray with mix of ink and denatured alcohol, wood used on deck and back wall and name boards. Filled in the maltese cross to a rectangular opening, barrels finished in oils as are the leather seats in the cab. Chrome removed and Alclad polished aluminum sprayed on. Main sub assemblies painted now in Ruusian WW2 Green surface primer. Some extra barrels added for interest. "Jack Daniels" graphics generated from real labels and internet adverts, printed on paper, cut out and glued on with white glue. Please go to finished show rod area for more photos.
