Exactly what is missing in my Weird Oh`s- collection. I have never built this one before, somehow I never got one... Let's see where it goes... First, I assemble everything and eliminate the unnecessary transitions and ridges... Then I look for a suitable base, such as what and where I want to go there... Here's an old picture frame with the kitbase... First test settings and positionings... More to come...

The outer frame is first covered with painters tape, and then filled in the inside with plaster. When all is dry, comes a layer structure color from the can... ... and above, a layer of matt black, this is the primer... More to come...

Everything is painted now... Primed black matt, ready for drybrushing... Ah, yes, here I have removed the original "hair", I will replace this later with some real-looking... ;D More to come.

I've been experimenting again, here the flames, they are all individual pieces of temporary Tattoos... Each flame is applied individually, and when everything dried well, the whole was sealed with clear varnish... Here is a little more detailwork... ... and finally put to the wheels... ... a few small steps are missing, then the machine is ready... Hope, you like it.

I have worked a bit on this here... ... on the bike, it still lacks the final touch, but roughly it's done... New tank cap, extended the exhaust end and positioned the whole slightly differently, inox coil springs under the seat, and the new rear light, a gem... Hope, you like it.

The pictures are back! This build is already finished... One of Hawk's best selling kit lines was the "Weird-ohs Car-icky-tures", dragster and hot rod caricatures (along with the related "Frantics", and "Silly Surfers" series), based on concepts and art created by their often-used freelance illustrator Bill Campbel. This one is Davey - The Way Out Cyclist (outlaw motorcycle club rider: "He's a Psycho cyclist! This cat's a terror on the road ...")
