Remodeling working area

After much selling on eBay, Craigslist, and to lots of friends here and there, I've managed to save enough money to remodel my working area which is my garage. Hadn't done much to it since I bought my house. Wish I had a basement to convert into a nice hangout, but this will do just fine. I call it my man cave.... I have to squeeze some time in after work so it'll take me a couple of weeks. Here is what it looks like so far





That's my model work area in the corner there.


My spray paint stash. Airbrush paints were already boxed up.


And stash of a few kits...

Now that I lay most of my kits side by side, I can see that I have way too many. I think I'm more of a collector than builder. Hahaha!

I wish I lived in your neighborhood....... I'd be over there working up a deal on doing all the trim and paint in that garage for a few of those swweeeet beauties.

Your model work area looks very familiar , but I'm envious of your garage . Mine didn't look that good when my house was new !

Oh and I'd probably take you up on it! Shouldn't be too difficult to finish. Gathering some friends to help paint and redo the floors. The time consuming part will be putting the garage storage pieces together. Not that I've never out anything together.

Fantastic hobby room.

Moved my stash to the dining room. The wife not too happy about it. Although rare here, I couldn't risk any April showers.



Painted the walls light gray and lay epoxy with white n blue flakes. Will start moving the new goodies I bought after The UFC and show time boxing fights tonight.

Sweet........ I'm thinking you got more kits than shelf space. Fill them shelf's and take some pictures. I'm also more of a collector, my bedroom closet is filled to the brim. I'll take my kits into the bathroom with me and admire the box art and contents while taking a deuce.

Well, here it is! Finally finished. Floor, walls, a few tools, and a lot more space for my stash. Time to get to the bench!

Nice little cabinet for some tools and my paint. More spray paint and Alclad jars than I need....more eBay.






And then the working area.....aaaahh yes indeed...most comfortable stool I've worked on. Haha!



Took me a while to put everything together so in a way, although it wasn't 1/24 scale, I was still building...
