This truck looks to be a 55. The truck in the commercial was a 1956, different cab , windshield an it was a different Green ..............

That F truck is well put together. I can dig it. I'm building a 41 ford pickup based on a aussie 41 wellside ute write off. I made my own cab with a wrap around rear window and just made the new turret from a sectioned 42 chevy truck one. Patterned to look at the rear like a 55-59 chevy cab. I'd love to know what the F100 owner's bonnet hinge was made from as my hood will flip forward. I'll make my own if need be, I've already figured it out. Tho its a 41 ford the inspiration is the Barris Kopper kart hence the roofline etc. Tho it is heavily customized my style is to do it as subtly as possible.
