Li'l Gypsy WagonShowrod Rail for Wandering in a Hurry •Original year: 1972 •Company: AMT •Scale: 1/25 •Designer: John Bogosian "Out-of-Sight" injected V-8 engine, plated chopper forks, vinyl tires, plated lantern headlight, plated cycle-type front wheels, "Transylvania team room" body, "skull" shifter, "keg" fuel tank, fiddle, gypsy camping accessories, crystal ball. This one has one of the best examples of box art you'll ever see and that has always attracted me magically... I have tried for years, to get hold of one of those things, of course, in order to build it! ... unfortunately without success, most were already gone, or the deals blew up to much my Budget... As it happens in life, you often see the trees, but not the forest... So I decided to build my own:coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/18052The project is not finished yet, I still build a diorama, but the vehicle as such, it is complete, here are the Pictures: Hope, you like it.

I watched this build for most of it and the final product is just flat impressive. Cool, fun, imaginative and one of the most creative re-do's I've ever had the pleasure to witness.

Another incredible build ! Your craftsmanship is very accomplished, and your knack at finding/making just the "right" part is the icing on the cake. Can't wait to see the next build.

Wow Bobby the more I look at your build, the more it makes me wish I had never sold the resin re pop of the body I had, a few weeks after selling it I had a good idea of a food truck kitbash, now I wish I had never sold the parts on eBay. I will never mess with the kit I'm building, but I sorta miss the blank body I had sitting around and never used, only after I sold it did I actually think of a good use for the kit

Absolutely stunning Bob .. You are a home décor son-of-a-gun ! .. this is an excellent example of how much MORE detail can be tastefully added to make the model come alive ... and of course the signature wheels are just cool !!.. Always motivational to see your work.. build on my friend !

I must agree, I have always loved this model but did not fully understand why. It must be the great box art! You did a great job creating this kit. The paint and detail is awesome. I hope I get a shot at one of these someday.
