This was the 2nd Place Winner of the Unfinished Entries - 2011 Fools For TD /Tom Daniel Tribute Entry Thread: coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/15732/fools-daniel-tribute-entry-thread?page=3Well, it's still not finished, how can that be... No, honestly, the problem was, that I had bought a second engine over the internet, unfortunately, sometimes things get lost in the mail... or whatever... ...and, hey, it took some time until I get a second, second Allison engine for this Project and I tell you, that was not cheap! This thing takes away a lot of space, so I thought I could maybe push it a little... Basic parts: - a Groovy Grader, extended, - a Corvette rear, upturned, - some Formula 1 parts for the body, - the oxygen tank in the rear is the Container from a Kinder Surprise Egg, - a transparent, two-piece Decorative ball for the capsule - and the front fenders from the Son of Ford kit (they enclose the capsule...) - Quite a lot of home-made wheels, aluminum, turned and polished, with rubbers from bicycle handlebar grips.

The rear suspension was somehow inappropriate, so I have it renewed. The rear axle is made of these parts, the differentials were originally edited cap nuts, I think M10, two washers and two lock nuts, M4. The entire rear "drive train"... Here is the body... ... and a small composition... Here you can see the upturned Corvette end, ahh, yes, these rear vents, they come from the "Pinto Street Rod" kit... www.showrods.com/showrod_pages/pinto_street_rod.htmlAnd here, the engine parts, the block is far along, and remember, that everything, twice...
