I did finish one this year. Woo Hoo! Of course this is the TD Badman. It is box stock except for the decals and the rear wheels (I wanted them to match), no wiring, no aftermarket parts, etc. I also didn't use the hood ornament, just didn't look right. As you can see it went through a name change. I used some of the original decals and some from Firebird Designs (FD). My intent was to use FD decals exclusively. It has always bothered me that the black side decals say 396 cu. in. and the engine is clearly a small block. I think the box even says it's a 283. The black side FD decals are to short and do not cover the top of the fenders. I cut the original black side decal into three pieces. I was going to change the cu in to 327 using the FD decals and the original black side decal. However, it turns out that the FD numbers are at a different angle than the original. So back goes the 396 to fill the space. The only FD decals that remain on the car are the name and the Dyno Tuned decals. All others are original. The original window decals looked like crap so they were removed. I mention all of this because there was a discussion thread of the Firebird Design decals. I like the decals from FD, they are thin and lay down very well. For me they just fell short of the classic Badman look. If I were to build another box stock I would use all original decals. If I were building a wild Pro Comp/Pro Street version of the Badman I would go all FD. Anyway here are some pics I took on the bench.
