Great job, you really brought out the charm of this kit with all the added detail painting.
Not sure why you chose to post it here though, to my eyes it should have been posted in the Show Rod forum as it most certainly qualifies as a showrod, albeit a caricature of one.

Bob, how did you do the tread on the rear tires, Dremel, file, sanding stick? I would like to try that out.

Bob, how did you do the tread on the rear tires, Dremel, file, sanding stick? I would like to try that out. I started by cutting the tire in half and then used a razor saw and a file to cut the grooves . Next I added a 1/8" thick spacer between the two halves and used modeling clay to fill in the backside . A lot of sanding and shaping before paint and it's done ! It's pretty crude and I had my doubts , but they turned out pretty good !
