I guess if I wanna be a real Klown, I gotta "enter the ring" sometime. I built this one last year. I need to take some new pics though/ the chopper engine in the pic here isn't quite finished, but you can see the tiny bolts. Here's the Cherry Bomb, with a twist! Revell Parts Pack Chevy 289 w/ Potvin supercharger. Joystick steering replaced. Sand Shark exhaust. Chopper given the eye treatment to replace the cherry. Chopper engine altered to shovelhead and wired as well as detailed wit bolts 'n such.

holy smokes .... thats awesome Joe. like your changes and paintwork. i did one about a month ago, but there is many more things i want to do with it. i'm certainly not "finished" with it. seems two things are good to-do with the cherry bomb, wheel-change, and add steering wheel. it sure is a "simple" kit from the box, but you've made yours very detailed, nice work! -AL heres mine, w/wheel change from "bad-news" coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/18529/monogram-fun-kits-cherry-bomb

You jumped in with both feet. Fantastic job on the Cherry Bomb. I always thought the kit was week in the engine department. Your build changes that. Nice work!

Cherry Bomb is one of my favorite Tom Daniel designs. If it aint broke, etc.
But your build is awesome. Your mods give it a more muscular look.
