been checkin this place out a couple weeks now and decided i better join up there's some talented folks in these here parts and lots o reference material to help a couple ideas that been simmerin on the back burner(of my mind)for months now. think i'm ready to step up and start something wild n wacky gonna be pretty much scratch-built because the kits i would need are currently beyond my reach budgetwise. anyhoo, i'm frank and i'm from mid-michgan(just about an hour from the capital building) i'm single and have an 18 yr old son who resides with me. i also have a 16 yr old son who resides with mom as 2yr ago(with me previously). i have the full custody of both and have for bout 16 yr now, but i digress.
i,ve been addicted to styrene ever since i can remember, maybe 4 or 5 yr old but not sure. i remember mom wouldn't let me have cement or paint so i built with elmer's glue and water colors i remember my first kit was the cuckoo's nest ford van(sure would like to have one now) and my 2nd kit was a 57 chev zinger both from the 70's so original. from there it's been a never ending stream of that wonderful substance we all know and love...long live styrene! my modelling tastes are eclectic...current wips include; 57 chev mud-racer, monster truck patterned after a hot wheels that i also built, dodge/acura integrabee type r, bone stock and out of box 66 gto(commisioned build) and lastly is something that should fit right in around here...i'll say there is a california vette body involved and possibly a later model mustang cobra r.
additionally, has anyone seen one of these? it's hot wheels from the late 90's ish
i used to have a couple others but this is the only one i kept.
