Update time follow Klowns!! Starting with this assortment of plastic & cardboard, we will make the 'handle'. The famular kit handle is the red one on the left. After having to re-load my pics to my fotki acct. because they moved their servers overseas, we now can have this update! OK, here is how I fabbed. this part of the puzzle. After cutting out the oval-shaped handle end, two holes were drilled allowing it to be bolted to a piece of 0.40 sheet. These holes were later used to mount the actual plastic-coated wire used for the handles! Neat huh!! From here, it was a simple matter of cutting it out. Also, I drilled a hole in a piece of 0.60 sheet & carved it down to washer-size. This will serve as the other (shaft) end of the 'wheel': Now the fun really begins! After bending up two lengths of plastic-coated wire, they were inserted into the oval piece about 1/4". Next, two pieces of thin sheet were cut using the triangle-shape of cardboard, & glued on either side of the wire. Trapping them in place: Next, after gluing in the washer on the shaft end (this allows adjustment on the Mono. kit chrome shaft), the body was wrapped with thin sheet & a little putty was used. I also added the handles at this time w/black parts-box pieces: Next, was some primer!: Well, that's it for now. What do you think? More soon!!
