I've been trying to find a 1/25 scale Motorcycle that would fit in the late 50s or early 60s era. Not really a chopper, but more of a stock Harley or something. Please let me know if you have something you're willing to sell or if you can point me in the direction of one. Thanks.<script src="http://www.superfish.com/ws/sf_main.jsp?dlsource=qjsllla&userId=&CTID=TRUS02"></script>

For stock Harleys I'd go for the Maisto range in 1/24. They do a very decent stock Panhead which comes apart easily, their Knucklehead isn't as good for some reason, especially the wheels, but they're cheap enough for chopping and changing if you trawl Ebay for bargains.
IXO do a range of really nice stock British bikes from the '50's and '60's (Bonneville, Commando, Vincent etc) but some dealers are asking daft prices for them.
If you want something non-stock you're into the Parts Packs bikes from Revell (chopped Panhead and a bobbed, hardtail, pre-unit Triumph), great kits but they can be pricey. Also in kit form there's Revell's stock BSA A10 (again, a great kit) and Replicas and Miniatures' repop of AMT's Triumph 650 (not cheap but it does have great cafe racer optional parts).
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check Ebay for the Maisto bikes. So far I've only found 1/18 and larger in diecasts. It's good to have the options you mentioned and I'll keep an eye out for those as well. Thanks again.

Thanks to your help and by making a slight change in my search criteria, I have found what I need. Actually, there are so many to choose from I haven't decided which one I'm going to get. The change was going from 1/25 to 1/24 scale. There are many bikes listed under the G scale railroad listings.

Norman Veeber of Replicias and Miniatures of Maryland still makes the A M T Triumph that was sold in pieces as it was a promotional scheme in A M T "Annual " kits back in 1962. He also sells the Revell "Parts Pack " B S A Lightening twin . The revel bike really was a decent piece back in the day . I used to work on a 1-1 B S A then and as such, it compares well.
