This is the kit that would not fit. almost every part needed to be tweeked. I ran out of purple flocking and used pipe cleaners instead because its 30 below outsode and way too cool to go to the hobby shop. The paint isTestors lacquer. The Chrome headers and the things on the crown were particularly challenging, I have no idea how someone could be able to build this without having super glue!

Well all of the work paid off. Nice build! Sounds like the weather is good for building. The high temp. way down here in the south is only 26 today, I can't imagine what you guys are going through north of MS.

It looks great in purple with gold, Dave, nice combo, i like it! Well, yes, this kit has some tough spots, especially the eight exhaust pipes... ... here's an example how I solved this Problem differently at my Gypsy Wagon replica... coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/18052/lil-gypsy-wagon-kitbash-wipNow I devote a little time to adjust the exhaust pipes. First, open up, or rather, I cleen out the Ends... Here are all with matt black painted Ends... I have trouble with these kits to mount the eight exhaust pipes, all right, and in row, also, if I all, first mount to the small plates and then to the engine... Especially not enough for me, that little hump... So, I have done the following steps: Especially now I can plug in each individual, twist, turn and set it in the desired angle without it drops immediately...

Thats a good tip Bobby! It would probably work out on the pipes on the Stingaree/Infini T /Bugaboo kits - I did a lot of cursing putting those headers together !

This has got to be my favorite line of kits that was ever offered by AMT, my favorite kit being the gypsy wagon, then the flame out, then the hemi howler.
