A beautiful build, Chuck, great implementation! And, yes, my friend, if your first car looked exactly like your build, then you were indeed a lucky man! My first car was a used, white 1986 Ford Escort ...

WOW!!!!! Dayum Chuck----That baby is sweet! During one of our phone conversations, previously owned vehicles was discussed. Chuck mentioned the '56 was the first car he owned....and I just happened to have one slightly/partially built. Chuck finished her with the fantastic paint and detail on this build and now has his first ride back, mini-sized. Now, You know the .....rest ......of the story. Amen Hale ! ... I'm planning on taking it to a couple shows this spring and showing it off ... it needs to see the sunlight ..lol.... thanks for helping me bring the memories back man !

Fantastic build Chuck. Admittedly a little jealous that that was your first car. Mine was a 2000 Dodge Caravan. And believe it or not Lindberg makes a kit for those and I have it

How do you own a car Illegaly? Anyways, very good looking build. My First Car I bought for 150 dollars. It was a 1973 Pontiac LeMans Grand Am. Black on Black and rusty as hell, had to redo the floor boards, because I would have had to stop Fred Flintstoning it.

Black on Black and rusty as hell, had to redo the floor boards, because I would have had to stop Fred Flintstoning it. The illegal part was I never applied for plates, had no insurance and no license ! I drove the back roads until my sister ratted me out.. My mom called the tow truck and told them to return it to the original owner who was an older buddy of mine... Mom told the driver to keep the money I paid for the car that the original ower refunded for hi stowing services...
