Beauty. This kit is a personal fave. Love the paint and color. And I gotta ask, where did you get those wide white walls? -Blake

Very nice!
What kit is that, and are those the kit wheels?

Very nice! What kit is that, and are those the kit wheels? Can say for sure that this is the AMT kit. They put it in a few different boxes over the years...but I doubt very much that those are kit wheels! A knowledgeable friend recently informed me that this is the Barris grill. Also just noticed: nice chop. Or at least I'm pretty sure the roof is chopped -Blake

The Body and hood has been section, the roof chopped, the floor of the bed has been raised so that the bed lines up with the cab. The frame and bed have been shortened. The trim around the windows been opened up (it give the look of a small chop) Made my own windows. The front roll pan is the rear roll pan I found in my parts box. The rear tires and chrome wheels are from ModelHaus, with the kits stock hub caps, I painted the purple inside the wheels. The front tires are black walls that I painted. The kit is AMT 53 Ford Pickup, the front grill and rear fenders come with the kit, I made my own tail lites. I cut up the rear custom seat from the AMT 57 Ford to make the seat for the truck. The front and rear axles set on top of the springs to get that lowered look.
