A long time ago, I had this "what if" inspiration and took the front end of the S'cool Bus and grafted it to the Fast Buck. It didn't look bad, but it ended up in a box because I was busy with other things. It's back on the bench now; I have a direction now, it's going to be SWAT truck. More mods; The frame is getting some attention as well, with parts from the Ice T; Stay tuned...

Thanks for the comments! Al, I agree, the wing and exhausts will be used to resurrect this original Jinx Express. The mods done to the front end are shown here: 10mm removed from the front wheel wells. 6mm added to the doors. 7mm added to the rear fenders. 10mm added to the rear roof. Ice T exhaust fit in the side. Running boards will be extended to match the new rear fenders. Oh yeah, the front axle was moved forward 6mm as well. Stay tuned...

Update 9 May. The wheel/tire combo required a little modification in the back: The wheels are from the S'cool Bus, with some tires from the parts box. Overall, I think it's taking shape rather well...

I'm Really Diggi'n this project, I love the widening of the rear fenders and the new exhaust. I think you're really on to something good here. This reminds me of a project I always wanted to do, ( ?remember ) ---the "Funny Money" Hot-Wheels ?? ..... it was a "twin engine" "Brinks" Funny-Car. Putting the S'cooL bus nose on the Fast-Buck makes so much more Sense. THIS has a lot to do with WHY I love Monograms. ---Great Concept, and Nice Work so far .......... -AL

Wow this is a cool project. Love the changes. Here is an old Volvo comment I heard once "it is boxy but safe".

Cool project! The police department that my father and I worked for had an armored truck during the 60s that was built by an armored car company. The truck was called the Thompson Tank around here. It had run flat tires, rifle ports, and the engine was encased in an iron box (when you opened the hood, you then had to open the box to check the oil) They still have it. There are only a couple still in existence. The link is to a picture of the truck. Maybe it will give you some inspiration. Great start! mdah.state.ms.us/arrec/digital_archives/series/hargrove/detail/5129
