I haven't built a showrod for a while but I have got one on the bench at the moment. It took a few sessions of filling and sanding to remove the join between the body and underside but once that was done it was time for primer. After assembling the suspension and painting the engine the next step was to get a few coats of paint on the body and do a quick mock up. If I can get a decent finish on the paintwork it shouldn't take long to finish it. More soon.

So far, so good, Tim! After a few originals and some kitbash builds that I have made of it, this kit has, again and again for me, a great Charisma...

Thanks for the comments. The engine is finished apart from the distributor. I painted the seat satin black with some BMF trim to liven it up a little.

I didn't realise it had been so long since the last update but I have got it back on the bench. The skeleton has been painted and the front axle fitted. The rear is just dry fitted at the moment but it should be finished soon. I'm sure there won't be a 2 year gap until the next update.
