Body Lines!I decided to do a Simple Section on the Body. I started by applying 1 inch wide tape around the Body, running along the Body's Center Line. I drew the lines along the bottom of the tape. Then I removed the tape. I also want to reduce the width of the Body by about 1 inch. So I applied tape right down the center of the Body. I drew a line on each side of the tape. Then I removed the tape. More Coming...

Tight Fit!Even with the rear wheels moved back there is still not much room for a driver... Prime Time!I decided to cover the Yellow Plastic Body & Frame with DupliColor Grey Filler/Primer. We Need More Room! So, I cut almost a half inch from middle of the Allison Transmission. It's a Fantasy Transmission that I made up just for the Beast. It should look pretty convincing when it's finished. Now there is enough room for the Drivers legs. The seat is from the Vette Pro Stock and the Driver is a Tamiya Rally Driver. More Coming...

With the combination of the narrowing and lower body removal, it looks like you unchopped the top, lol!

With the combination of the narrowing and lower body removal, it looks like you unchopped the top, lol! Brian Thanks Brian! It is funny how all of the proportions change when you start cutting the bodies up. I was going to chop the top but there wasn't enough room for the Drivers Head...

You could add the clear canopy from a Stinger dragster and then add a headrest/teardrop behind that. Then paint the windshield glass black or silver to look like eyes on the body.

Sanding...I got most of the Sanding done on the Body. I'm going to work on the Chassis and Engine for awhile. I've been thinking about Chopping the Top, but I'll have to wait until the Chassis and Engine are Mocked-Up to see if there is enough room for Chopping... More Coming...

More Bars!Next, I cut 2 lengths of Tubing and glued them between the Roll Bars. Then I added 2 more on the Front. After trimming the mounts from the bottom of the Seat, looks like we have enough room for the Driver. We have plenty of room for the Engine too. Good News! There is enough room to do a Very Serious Top Chop later... More Coming...

Chopping The Top!After finishing the Roll Cage I found that I could remove about 3/16 of an inch from the Top. I used 3/16" masking tape as a Template for the 2 Cut Lines. I drew the lines with a Sharpie. I cut out the areas between the lines with a Cut-Off Wheel. I Sanded the Cut Edges smooth on a Sheet of 120 Grade Sandpaper. I simply Sanded the edges on a the Sandpaper on a flat surface. I glued the body halves together with Zap-A-Gap, Green Label. More Coming...
