I started building a show-drag machine by hacking up a couple of MPC showrod chassis. The front of the Chuck Wagon was mated (Z'ed) to the rear of a bobbed Rickshaw chassis. I also dumped the rear end a bit. Adding wheel mounting pins allowed me to mock up the chassis with the Chuck Wagon's supercharged Ford FE engine on a set of 1/18 GMP drag wheels and tires. A Poison Pinto scoop makes a decent start at a Scott Superslot injector hat. I may lower the rear even further to really radicalize the stance. I want this thing sitting nose high, with it's ass on the ground like a dog with worms - East Coast Style! I don't want to give it all away yet, but the body will be something from a more standard scale, to give this build the kind of proportions we're used to seeing in Keith Weesner illustrations.

After attending an NNL on Saturday, I got back to work. Started a top-chop, but messed it up a bit. Decided to back off, let a few glue joints set up, and I'll try again in a few days.
