As you can see after a few threads, over the years, that I liked "Black N Red" on certain builds. It's a combination that for me just "SCREAMS" a need to be painted these colors - and the batmobile was no exception. This was really a lot of fun to build somewhat different, with the street rod theme. Actually, this was the first of the three posted here to get painted these colors. Got a few more builds in process that have the same colors, and a few others done, painted like these, but their not show rods - Anyway, some pics.

It looks soooo much better like this ! I've never been a fan of the dark/sinister look ( wheels , trim , etc... ) on cars nowdays and it's one reason I never liked this version of the Batmobile . I really like your version , excellent work ! BOB .

Very nicely done. The two tone paint looks super. It looks like a Hot Wheel design, very sharp!

That is a much better improvement. The colours makes it pop. Makes me wish I bought one when they were in a clearance sale.

........ Makes me wish I bought one when they were in a clearance sale. I hear ya . I have one other Batmobile kit that I bought years ago when they weren't popular then, and were "Cheap" . There's so much you can do with kits like this with just a little creative imagination. Makes building so much fun!!!!!!!
