Just a simple boulevard cruiser. AMT Parts Pack '60 Merc grille and Pegasus Sovereign wheels. The engine got some hop up parts from AMT's '51 Chevy Convertible, and details from Detail Master and D&J. Zebra decals are Scale Motorsport. Lowering was mostly by channel/body drop, evidenced by the very shallow pickup bed. Extra drop in the rear serviced by AMT Wagonrod air bags and compressor/tank. Stake sides from Revell '41 Chevy pickup, and stainless exhaust turndowns are from a sci-fi detail set.

I love the paint, the straight six and the shark eye hood. A very nice build Scurv. If I had it in 1:1 I would drive the wheels off of it.

I love the paint, the straight six and the shark eye hood. A very nice build Scurv. If I had it in 1:1 I would drive the wheels off of it. That was my thought when I built it. In fact, I purposefully only installed airbags in the rear because I know what difficulties aligning a 1:1 front end with adjustable ride height can turn into. Sometimes you want to build something wild and wooly, and other times it's fun to build it the way you'd really like to have one.

Hey Scurve.. Let me chime here !! First off I'm not attempting to high jack your thread...lol.. That's not what friends do !! - killer build and the lavender is an excellent choice !! All the cool hookups all the cool kids want .. As far as alignment there's zero issues bagging the front of any car or truck.. The cool thing is this.. You set your ride height to where YOU want it to be BEFORE aligning it... Then record the pressure in front and rear bags,(usually independent gauges) ... Now you can lower it, raise it whatever you want .. Returning to the recorded pressures puts you right back on the mark... !! I bagged the last 2 vehicles I own and have ran thousands of road miles.. Tire wear is not an issue as long as you run at the ride height and pressures used to originally align.. Just sharing brother !!! This is one bad ass boulevard cruiser...
