Got to start somewhere , I find bashing more fun and makes the build more unique. I'm sure it will turn out just fine!

and, for the most part, when you're bashing... the end result can't be considered "incorrect" That's one of the reasons I build showrods!

Well guy's the van itself has been chopped , shortened and narrowed now to allow the roof to fit properly.Being a 35 year Autobody Man has it's advantages I guess.....but then again this is small scale...lol.I'm going to Cosmic Color in Kitchener to pick out my color. They deal in a large quantity of Candy Color's.I'll be using base clear Auto paint for this build.I'm guessing a true Candy Apple Red , Candy Bandit Blue or an Outlaw Green....what do you think guy's?

I am leaning towards the outlaw green Don.I have the Cosmic Color Candy guide. These are all Auto Paints which I have used on models before.I did the 1/16 MPC Cobra in Deep Sapphire blue Base Clear. What a gorgeous finish and to see it in the sun...WOW.I am also going to use the Auto Paint on my 1/8 Scale Heller Citreon

Attachment DeletedThis is my latest update on my first bash ever. This funny car frame was also shortened and altered so the wheel base would fit the chopped van.The motor idea came from Mickey Thompson's Baltimore Bandit with the water pump and timing cover assembly coming from a sprint car kit.The headers came from a pro stock kit I had sitting around.Hope you like it.I also tagged everything such as the gas tank the cooler in the back the extinguishers and the electrical box which I still have to put in.
