Hey Don, ironically this isn't the first time the decals on one of the AMT reissues came through without being close to the originals. I think it was the Infini T that bummed me out when I seen them. I really liked the look of the original colors on the decals of that one and they didn't even come close. I'd have thought with the technology we have these days that the decals wouldn't be a problem to either match or make even better.
Oh, and very sweet build! One of my favorites and you did a very nice job on it.

You're right AJ -The worst part of the Infini T was the decals ; the first set I got just disintegrated when I tried to use them , I wrote to the manufacturer and they sent me a new set, which were so thin they kept tearing . Not only that they were pretty much transparent as was the Stingaree decals , they were hard to see if you painted them a dark color.

How cool is that Don. Replacing a memory from back in the day! And a great job on it as well. Yeah...we don't want to replicate our "glue" fingerprints on them. LOL
