I have an original issue Mickey Thomson Challenger still in the cellophane, the box is crushed a little but I have heard that happens to these old revell kits, if anyone wants it PM me an offer! Thank you! The box looks like the 1995 reissue to me |

I have no idea i just went off of the date on the box and that it said manufactured in the US and Litho in US, but i'm no expert so I don't know what to look for. |

99% certain it's a reissue, the reference on my original issue box shows H-1281-198.

The original 60's issue was in a much sturdier box. When I got back into modeling in 1995 I walked into a REAL hobby store and saw this kit in the mix and thought I'd scored big time. But when I opened it and was drooling over it's parts and saw '1995 Revell' stamped on the underside of the body. Lots of early ebayers got screwed over the box thinking it was from 1963.

I realized the difference in boxes when i compared it to the 62 issue of this 56 ford truck and realized the truck box might as well be steel compared to the challenger box.  |
