That's a really clean build - is that the color of the plastic, or is it painted ? I have had this kit for years ,and for some reason I never got around to building it. Now that I see your build, I'm going to have to get going on mine !

Thanks Don, actually the re issue is molded in this weird brownish red color. I didn't like it, so I sprayed it with testors gloss dark red.

Wow, that is so pretty it inspired me to reply. Mostly I'm just a lurker. I'm getting my son interested in modeling so I picked up a GB Cherry Bomb about a week ago. We rescued it and the choice of satin paint was his. It turned out pretty good for my first model in almost 40 years. I can see all the warts but my son thinks its the coolest thing on Earth. For that reason alone I think it's the best Cherry Bomb ever! Hope you like it.  |

I bought a build up to use for parts
till my Buddy Bill told Me it was an "original"
Has the tinted green glass, so,
now it sits on the build shelf

One of my favorites when done cleanly... great job! Testors Dark Red lays down really nice, I love that stuff.
Coda, post yours in a separate thread and tell us a little more. I love the blown engine and the radiator shell was a good choice.
