I found this Brad Leisure illustration and decided to scratch build it. Too bad it’s not in the Showrod section. If anyone has more info and maybe the name I would appreciate it. I started with the Red Baron body and scratchbuilt the rear deck, fenders, frame and step plates. I will rebuild the Red Baron interior and add a modified mini Bic lighter for the fuel tank. I thank you for looking and hope you like it. More to come. Dave

I don't have any info about it but I like it alot and it looks like you're headed in the right direction ! Too bad you can't scrounge one of those old MPC trailers to modify , it would save a lot of work .

I did some more work on this build. I scratch built the trailer from flat styrene. Also, I altered an old interior and added some pieces and found a Dalmation (I need to re-point his tail). I need to put something in the trailer, some kind of fire equipment. Thank you for looking and hope you like it. Dave

"found a Dalmation (I need to re-point his tail)" The dogs tail ruins the whole build for me

This one took a while to complete but its done. I used the body from the Red Baron and scratch built the fenders bed and made the fuel tank from a mini Bic lighter. The trailer is all scratch built. I made the rolling fire extinguisher and used white shoelaces dyed in tea for the coiled up hoses. The Dalmation is from Michaels, the ladder, hose pipes are scratch built as well as the brass railings. I hope you like it and thanks for looking. Dave

That came out fantastic. The Bic Lighter is a great idea for the fuel tank, perfect shape. Nice!! Paul
