Problem solved! Thanks to the eye dropper tool! I took a picture (rear end view) in which I was convinced the stripes were red. Enlarged it in paint and oh so carefully picked a spot of stripe and lo and behold... brown! Thanks to those of you who were trying to help and hadn't had a chance to respond yet. I'm going to go finalize my decals now.

Thank you for the confirmation. I just enlarged the one I have and you're absolutely correct. Guess I could have enlarged it earlier, but two heads and all that. I'm doing some castings tonight, and I'll add the proper coloring and the scroll work of the later design tomorrow. What do you guys suggest... I can add a second hood decal with the scrollwork in place, or just one hood decal and the scrollwork off to the side? (that would be easiest)
