Man how time flies... Sometimes I put the year of a kit somewhere on the inside... this one I started in 2002. (!) I really need to finish it. Actually to be fair it was "finished" twice so far... once I hurried through it, but wasn't happy with the helmets and flippers on the garbage truck bed and a few other things.. I pulled it back apart. Then for some reason I lowered it over a round of Fast Buck slot mags one year. Then I came to my senses and lifted it back up. I've dusted it off this year and am on a mission to finish it... for reals this time. Dual gas pedals: For the rear engines:

That's pretty cool ! I've had a bunch of Garbage Truck kits over the years and I've never built even one , I think I need to change that .

You like the multiple engines and I like the wheel standers. Drop the front engine and make it the wheel standing garbage truck. I have a stalled Garbage Truck project as well. Mine will have a holding cell and an electric chair in the back. I really like the Chevy truck cab, it looks right at home. Maybe you will finish this one during the harsh winters we have here.

You should totally build a wheel-stander Garbage truck. It wouldn't be that hard at all....
I actually started the project as a gasser pickup, but then stuffed the Garbage Truck bed on the back, and then I ran across an old Dodge van model that had the dual engine setup that went inside... It was a perfect fit.

I agree with Bert ,,it would make a great wheel stander. Include me to , I have 1 that's stalled as well.

LOL... my thought process was it was a match racer, and when the competition agreed to race, I'd flip the back open and hit 'em with two more engines... waaapow!

Not finished, but closer. I never liked the height of the seat and steering wheel, so I raised them both and added some height to the roll bar. I think I'm finally happy with it now. That being done, I glued the cab back down, along with the bed floor and the tilt-front hinge cap... I also aded some cab lights. Hinge cap drying:

Fast Trash Progress.. getting closer.. The interior is done, the body and front end are mounted, and most of the suspension and engine stuff is dialed in. I still need to run the driveshafts.. But work is being done to rid the garbage truck body of the surfer helmets and board mounts. Honestly this labor has been a huge part of why this thing has been stalled for so long. I hate doing bodywork in tight areas... but, as with all things, just work on one step at a time and eventually it'll get done... it's actually in first prime right now.
