Hello from Italy! My name is Andrea Lattanzio and I'm a great "petrolhead". I'm also a custom LEGO car builder, known in the international LEGO community as Norton74. Even if isn't easy seeing Show Rods and Hot Rods in my conutry I love this "one of a kind" vehicles. Above all I consider Show Rods perfect to be re-built using LEGO bricks. Today I show you my latest model, the well known Tom Daniel's "Beer Wagon" based on antique Mack Bulldog chain drive rear end. Below few pictures: It features: - fat drag tires on the rear; - chrome dog dish hubcaps; - eight chrome pipes thru the hood; - beer keg gas tanks; - beer keg between the seats; - wooden load compartment. The outline... Tom Daniel's Beer Wagon is for sure the wildest beer haulin' drag machine all around. Are you interested about my builds? Follow me either on Norton74's Facebook page or Norton74's Flickr photostream. All the best! Norton74 - Andrea Lattanzio

I'm impressed! Are all the bricks stock Lego shapes or do you have to custom make some. In particular, I am looking at the curved roof.

Thanks Flounder. The bricks are all original pieces, I don't modify any bricks. The curves are made with "bricks slope curved". Only the stickers and some wires are custom.

I'm also a big Lego fan, so I'm loving this!!!
Very well done!
Imagine if Lego would license designs from Mr. Daniel and release them as kits.

GREAT work!!! Beer Wagon is one of my favorites. Where do chrome wheels come from....not seen them in the USA. My son and I are into Lego....both a large city and some vehicles. What are the '- eight chrome pipes thru the hood;' I can figure out most other parts but not those. My builds are not up to yours...but we have fun!!! Mad Max War Rig Gigga horse....

I like cars. And I like LEGO. But I rarely like cars built from LEGO even those from the factory like the Ferrari F40.
However, your build looks better than the original in many respects!

Thanks Dave and great work with your cars About the chrome bricks they are original LEGO pieces but chromed using an industrial process. The "eight pipes" are simply "Brick, Round 1 x 1 x 1 2/3". If you are into LEGO and you'are a petrolhead follow me on flickr and Facebook Keep it on! Happy building!

I try to have a personal style which means smooth design but rich in details. And I'm quite satisfied with my builds
