Hello, I had created this model car last year and did not get a chance to post up here in this board, as it was in a contest. So I am posting this here for you all to see... I have never liked the gasser style on this car as it was made, So I decided to do some quite heavy modifications, I added the cover on hood gaps , added the tiny rods on the bullet nose on hood. The wheels were quite out of proportion so I decided to shortened them and added the white walls inside the outer wheel area to create them as stock/mild custom. I used 57 chevy bumper from the stash and shortened to fit. The car had no racks on the back so I scratch build one, using styrene strips. The emblem on front of the grill is from a hat pin as it fits perfect. I only drilled a tiny hole for it to slide in and glue them. I also then created a surfboard from scrap wood and painted them. I bought this as a gluebomb and was in a terrible shape. I managed to take them apart and there were only four pieces, which were just body, windshield, inside dash and the chassis. I had to borrow a new reissued 57 chevy to support some of missing pieces such as driver and a few things. It was a wonderful build and I absolutely enjoyed them a lot and I know I will build one like this again in the future. So here it is and enjoy. surfing club stickers on windows...
