I bought this to use the engine in an Anglia Gasser, and woke up one morning with the vision of doing a vintage custom. Chopped the top 3mm in front and 4mm in the back. I pie cut the bottom of the rear glass area and laid the window area down, so I do not have to cut the glass. Windshield was done in the way that all I need to do is cut the lower part down after it install it. Thinned the scoop down on the hood to it is less obtrusive. Removed the last 1/3 of the body trim on the quarter panel to make the chrome look similar to the Buick side trim used on Mercury's. Suspension wise I lowered the rear 3/16 inch. On the front I cut off the upper a arms and spaced them up with .060 square stock. That should give it a good look. I took stretched sprue and filled the door handle holes and fit plastic into the emblem area on the truck lid and the recess on the hood top. Next is the head and tail light mods and Lake Pipe recesses. Paul

Got the body mods pretty much done. Cut and molded in the stock Hudson grill surround, Frenched headlights are the Hudson Bezels blended in. I made the custom taillight extensions. Flat stock layered around 3/16 tubing to get a different look. Wet sand and fill the little ickies and than base color goes on. Chassis is done with 390 Cad and Hydro from Revell Merc. The wheels and tires are also Revell Merc with the mounting pin holes opened up slightly to mount on the Moebius suspension. Paul
