That turned out real nice, I like the mod that you did with the boiler, It's a small thing but it makes a huge difference in the over all look.

You do great work. This is another super job. If you hadn't mentioned the boiler, I don't know if I would have noticed. I do think it looks better though.

Great job! The seat looks really nice, and the gold/brass is a nice contrast.

Thanks for the kind words! The gold is Tamiya spray paint; great stuff. Dries quick and hard. The seat cushion is epoxy putty (Aves); I thought the seat looked a little hard and uncomfortable without one

Thanks! I'm currently working on Revell's Der Baron and his Funfdecker Fokker; am waiting for paint to dry, as usual...

Well done rocketeer, it looks great. Are the letters on the tyres painted or decalled?

Well done rocketeer, it looks great. Are the letters on the tyres painted or decalled? Thanks! The tires came that way. Tampo-printed, I suspect.

Very nice build of a kit I was completely unaware of previously. Lots of little flames all over it. Real nice candy apple red(?) paint job too. And I just discovered there are a bunch available on evilBay. I may have to consider one to put in the stash.

It was one of the Tamiya spray paints, but I don't remember exactly which shade. Tamiya is the spray paint God would make if he were in the paint business--goes on smooth, dries hard and glossy.

I'm building the Moebius Lost in Space Robot right now and just got an order of Tamiya silver and dark gray to use on it. They are lacquers and dry fast and cure fast as well. So far it's looking pretty good with both colors.

Looks great buddy! What a cool build! These share the chassis with the Depth Charger, right? I want to pick up one of these for my stash! Great job, really nicely put together!

Thanks! Yes, the chassis is shared with the Depth Charger. Not as well engineered as the Monogram show rod kits, but a nice change of pace.
