Great looking build ! You cant go wrong with flames on a hot rod . Boy , Lindberg sure got some use out of this mold - From the early motorized versions all the way through. to today. Even when they discontinued the motors, the parts for them were still there as well as all the extra bits for other versions of the same car. Lindberg also had the "Time Bomb" and the Mind Blower " issued around the same time as the Ford Fooler , these are the same kit with different decals. (which just disintegrate in water) , and the same archaic instructions. . My three versions did have chrome parts so maybe yours was an error or they were cutting back as oil got more expensive . Here is my Mind Blower ; you can see its the same kit . URL=http://s167.photobucket.com/user/74GREMLIN/media/IMGP2225.jpg.html] [/URL]

Thanks Don, yes I've seen a few here on ebayUK since I bought mine and all are without chrome parts.Mine still has all of the motorised bits on the same sprue as the fenders, although not mentioned on the build plan. I enjoyed building something different, we don't see many hot rod kits like these in the UK.
