Warmer weather allowed the completion of this one. I went a little off-track between the 3 ways you could build it up. Painted some Krylon Maroon. Decals are home grown black seaweed I drew up. All under clear lacquer. Lots. I smoothed in the hood and headlight housing rather than try to deal with making them fit and be functional. Went with simple wood grain dry brushing on the coffin board. Modded up some canopy supports instead of the curlicue ones (they seemed a bit much). Screening (for better air flow) came from a desk set basket my office had laying around. As it sits on the supplied cardboard display: and with its mini model box: Thanks for lookin!

Thanks for the feedback, fellas! This was one I'd never built before, so I gave it a shot. It was listed as molded in color, however, the color was bright orange. There were some fitting issues with the cage frame, especially since I wasn't using the kit panels. And i couldn't get the taillights to sit correctly with all that clear coat (so, again, my own fault) But overall, it looks good on the shelf.
