Nice save Don. I have a soft spot for these kits too. I hope to restore a haulin hearse that has been in the stash for a long time. I like the paint color as well.

Has anyone ever noticed that the surf boards and scuba tanks for this Johan kit and the ones from the Garbage truck are basically identical ? The only difference on the boards is the ones from Johan have a fin like most surfboards have ; the size and design on the boards are the same , even though they are from two different companies. The scuba tanks on the Johan kit have the valves as a add on part to the tanks and no mounting pins , the Garbage trucks have the valves molded into one piece and pins but are the same size and shape. One of the scuba tanks off of my restoration was from a TD kit .
