Well I am getting somewhere with my Little Deuce clone. I sprayed my wheels, engine and Grill parts with Testors one coat Electric blue. This light blue I thought would be a good undercoat for my C1 Metalizer. To Say the Least I was disappointed with my results with that product. It was a very dark maybe gunmetal color that came out. With that said I decided to try good old Krylon Classic Chrome Spray paint. It gave me the bling I was looking for. I also found a Malatow Liquid Chrome marker while I was out and about and played with it for the Deuces suspension. Pics to Come. This is sooooo fun. Just what the Dr. ordered.

By the by, there will be absolutely no original Little Deuce parts on this thing. Most all of the "Little Deuce" parts are resin.

I'm watching too , always interesting to watch a clone go together ! I didn't realize the Little Deuce grille was available in resin , or did you cast it yourself ?

The one I'm using was cast by Ed over at Drag City casting as a short run I don't think he offers it in his line up. It was an extra that he cast as he was making it for his own personal use. He offered it up as I bought the Deuces Pontiac engine off of him as well. That is also an extra he cast for his own personal use and offered up the extras for a short run as well. I don't think it is a part of his line up. Idk if Norm over at Replicas and miniatures of Maryland still offers his Little Deuce grill. I still have one of his. Lol I tested my Molatow Liquad Chrome marker on it.

Cool. I love the little deuce. Just some information for you all. Ed's a great guy and does his best to accommodate any request. If he absolutely can't do it he'll say so. Lol thanks for the comments

Everything you see in this pic is resin except the wheel back rings. But I also have the rest of the Pontiac engine, firewall and grill shell. I will get some more pics up soon. Thanks for your interest.
