So, my snowplow Jeep is pretty much finished except for some little details, and I picked up this kit at the flea market last weekend and got to wondering what to do with it  A little messing with parts later....  I think it's a pretty cool concept! Now, this project isn't going to be super fast moving, and I'm kinda figuring out as I go what parts to use and how it'll look, but I spent some time designing a frame that could be 3D printed...  And a couple of days later I got the rails back from the print guy!  Looks SUPER cool with the cab on, I think!    I'm hunting for parts, so not much more progress for a few days - but a new build is always exciting to share! |

Speaking of the grill - I got mail this morning!  They look cool huh?  I wanted a design with the headlights moulded into the grill itself - I'll mask those recesses and Alclad them after paint, and add some clear lenses. I spent yesterday looking through my spares to find an engine. Something like this might be cool!  I'm thinking of raising that blower up some on some extensions though. More soon! |

Now we're talking!  Next thing I need to do, whilst I wait for the remaining chassis parts to arrive so I can start locking everything in place, is figure out a rear axle. I had an idea for an axle with a devil skull centre section, so I designed that and have ordered one of those too:    Cant wait to see that in real life! Should arrive mid next week, all being well. More soon! |

Just a little update - my custom rear axle came!    Looks cool, I think! Whilst I'm waiting for some more chassis parts to come so I can finish off the frame I got the doors glued on the body there...  ...fabricated a new floor and modified the dash to take a single dial  I'll use a googley eye lens for the glass on the dial:  And I found a seat for the interior  JUST fits in there! Perfect fit!  More soon! |

I've KINDA got a plan - I'm just working on the boring stuff like brackets to hold it all together right now, but more interesting progress when I make it! I'm thinking of painting the body first on this one, so I'm not waiting around for a week at the end to finish it. Guess I should get going with that! |
